The project consisted in transforming the reputation of the city of Busan through the development of a world-class waterfront district complete with cultural, educational, commercial and maritime activities that fully reflects its status as one of the great emerging international cities. Therefore the existing industrial North port has to be efficiently relocated to create land that will provide development area for housing, public, office, retail, cultural and entertainment spaces.
